The payout hold
Each day's earnings wait 15 days before they can be paid, so fake views and disputes can be caught. The hold rolls day by day; it does not start over. Earnings under a dispute or check wait until it is resolved.
How the hold works
- Earnings for each day become payable 15 days later. For example, earnings from views verified on the 1st are released about 15 days after the 1st.
- The hold is rolling: every day some earlier earnings are released while new ones start their hold.
- A brand can set a longer hold for its campaign, up to 30 days. The campaign page shows it.
Why there is a hold
It gives time to catch bought views and to settle disputes before money leaves. It protects the honest creators who are paid from the same budgets.
Frozen earnings
If a brand disputes a reel or our team is checking it, that reel's earnings still in hold are frozen until the matter is resolved. If it is resolved in your favour, they continue as normal. See Disagreeing with a decision.
Where to see it
Earnings shows how much is in hold, and for each reel the date the next amount is released. See Your Earnings page.
More in Earnings & payouts
Earnings = verified views × the campaign rate ÷ 1,000, limited by any caps, minus the 10% platform fee. For example, 50,000 verified views at ₹50 per 1,000 earn ₹2,500, and you receive ₹2,250.
Payouts go out once a day, at about 10:00 IST, to the UPI ID or bank account on your profile, once your payable balance is at least ₹500. Our team checks each payout batch before it is sent.
Viewzar keeps 10% of what your reels earn; you keep 90%. It is taken when earnings leave the hold. Brands pay exactly their posted rate. Signing up and booking are free.
Views are read from Instagram's own data for your registered account, checked for fraud, and counted for 30 days after you post or until the campaign ends. A reel earns nothing below 1,000 views; once it passes, every view counts.
