Rules for creators

Post from your own registered public account, book before you post, follow the brief and its caption requirements, never submit the same reel twice, keep the reel up while it is tracked, and never use bought views, bots, fake accounts or stolen content.

  1. Post from your own registered account. It must be public. Views are verified only for Creator and Business accounts.
  2. Book first, then post. Only reels posted after you booked, and during the campaign dates, count.
  3. Label paid content. Include the campaign's disclosure tag (usually #ad) and the hashtags and mentions the brief asks for.
  4. Follow the brief. Brands approve or reject only against their written brief. Content that mocks the product or breaks the brief's don'ts can be rejected.
  5. One reel, one submission. A reel can be submitted once, by one person. Genuinely different edits of a raw cut are fine.
  6. Keep it up. Views are tracked for 30 days or until the campaign ends. Deleting the reel before then forfeits unpaid earnings.
  7. No bought views, bots, fake accounts or stolen content. This is an immediate, permanent ban and unpaid earnings are voided.
  8. No prohibited content. See Content rules.

Breaking a rule can lead to a warning or a strike. See Strikes and warnings. The full rules are also at /rules.

Strikes and warnings

A first minor slip is a warning. A confirmed rule break is Strike 1, which cuts payouts by 20% for 90 days. Strike 2 cuts them by 40% and drops your tier. Strike 3 suspends the account. Fraud is an immediate ban.

Level When Effect
Warning A first minor issue. A notice only. It expires after 30 days.
Strike 1 A confirmed rule break. Payouts reduced by 20% for 90 days.
Strike 2 Another break while Strike 1 is active. Payouts reduced by 40%, and you drop one tier.
Strike 3 A further break. The account is suspended pending review.
Ban Bot views, bought engagement, fake accounts or stolen content. Immediate and permanent. Unpaid earnings are voided.

Good to know

  • A brand dispute never creates a strike on its own. A person reviews every case.
  • Enforcement is currently lenient: a first minor slip is a warning rather than a strike. Clear fraud is a ban either way.
  • Active strikes and when they expire are shown on My profile.
  • When a strike expires, your payout rate returns to normal automatically.

If you think a strike is wrong, see Disagreeing with a decision.

Content rules

Gambling and betting, illegal products and explicit sexual content are not allowed. Political party campaigns are not accepted; government awareness campaigns are. Paid content must be labelled. There is no betting or real-money game anywhere on Viewzar.

For everyone

  • Prohibited campaigns: gambling and betting, illegal products, and explicit sexual content.
  • Political party campaigns are not accepted. Government awareness campaigns are welcome.
  • Paid content is labelled. Every reel carries the campaign's disclosure tag, usually #ad.
  • No wagering. Nothing on Viewzar involves betting, predictions or real-money games. Leaderboards are a scoreboard only.

For brands

  1. You never pick creators. Campaigns are matched by niche; you control quality through approval.
  2. Approve against the brief only, within 48 hours. Silence means approved.
  3. Money moves only on verified views. Unused budget stays in your wallet.
  4. Dispute with evidence, while money is in hold. Brands with many rejected disputes can lose dispute rights.
  5. Honest numbers. Every budget, payout and leaderboard figure shown is real.
