What is the Viewzar feed, and how does it work for viewers, creators and brands?

By the Viewzar team
In short

The Viewzar feed is a full-screen short-video feed of product clips at viewzar.com/feed that anyone can watch in the browser, with no app or account. Any clip that features a product has a product details button showing what it is, where to find it and direct links. Brands and creators post the same way, clips are ranked on how people respond rather than follower count, and every profile puts the poster's shop one tap away.

On this page

The Viewzar feed is a free, full-screen feed of short product videos at viewzar.com/feed. You swipe from clip to clip as you would on Instagram Reels or TikTok, in the browser on a phone or a computer, with no app and no account. Any clip that features a product has a product details button that shows what the product is, where you can find it and direct links to it where they are available. Brands and creators post to it the same way, and the feed ranks every clip on how people respond to it, not on who posted it.

Viewzar publishes this blog, so this page is its own plain description of the feed: how watching works, what each button does, how posting works, and how the feed connects to the shop and the pay-per-view campaigns.

The quick facts

  • What it is: a short-video feed built around products, with a gallery view called Explore and a separate feed for each category
  • Where to watch: viewzar.com/feed, in any browser, on a phone or a computer
  • Who can watch: anyone, without an account or an app
  • Who can post: anyone who signs up, brands and creators alike
  • What sets it apart: the product details button on every clip that features a product
  • How clips are ranked: by how people respond, so follower count does not decide who gets seen
  • What a profile carries: the poster's clips, plus their shop one tap away

How watching works

There are four ways in, and they all lead to the same full-screen player.

The feed

Open viewzar.com/feed and a full-screen vertical player starts straight away. Swipe up for the next clip, scroll, or use the arrow keys on a computer. Sound plays once you have tapped anywhere on the site, because browsers only let a page play sound after you have interacted with it. If you want to see it before reading further, watch the feed in another tab.

Explore

Explore is the gallery view. Clips sit in a grid and play silently as you hover over them or scroll past, with category chips across the top. Tap any clip and the full-screen feed opens at that clip, so you can browse by eye and then watch properly.

Categories

The categories page lists eleven of them: Beauty and skincare, Fashion and accessories, Gadgets and tech, Home and kitchen, Food and drinks, Health and fitness, Funny and novelty, Kids and toys, Pets, Auto, and Apps and services. Each category is its own feed, so someone hunting for a kitchen tool can watch nothing but kitchen clips. Hashtags in captions are tappable too, and open a hashtag page.

Clip pages

Every clip also has its own page, with a title, a short description of what is in the video, the caption, the category and related clips. The page is built so search engines can read and list it, the same way they read an article. A clip lives on in two places, the feed and its own page.

How the feed decides what to show you

The feed follows a few plain rules.

  • Unseen first. Clips you have not watched come before ones you have.
  • A mix. Categories are mixed, so you never sit through a long run of one kind of product.
  • Your interests. The feed leans towards the categories you pick or watch.
  • Response. Clips that people watch to the end, like, save, share and comment on are shown more.
  • A start for new clips. New clips get an early push so they are seen.

The last two rules matter most to anyone who posts. Because ranking comes from how viewers respond, a brand with no audience yet and a creator with a small following start level with everyone else. A good clip earns its place.

Follower count does not decide who gets seen. How people respond to the clip does.

The buttons on every clip

Down the right-hand side of each clip sit the buttons you already know from Instagram.

  • Like, or double tap the video.
  • Comment, with replies, so a question gets answered in a thread.
  • Save, to come back to a clip later.
  • Share to WhatsApp and other apps, copy the link, or download the video. A downloaded clip carries a small logo and the poster's @username, so a clip that gets passed around keeps its creator's name on it.

The product details button

Beside like, comment, save and share, any clip that features a product has a product button. Tap it and a panel shows what the product is, where you can find it, and direct links to it where they are available.

This one button changes what the feed is for. On a general short-video app, a viewer who spots something they want has to scroll the comments asking "what is this, where do I buy it?" and hope somebody answers. Here the answer sits on the clip itself. A scrolling feed becomes a place people come to discover products and then actually find them. The longer guide to tracking down a product from any video, on any app, is how to find a product you saw in a video or reel.

Profiles, following and safety

Tap the poster's name to open their profile and follow them. The ··· menu on a clip lets you report it or block the poster.

How posting on the Viewzar feed works

Anyone who signs up can post, and brands and creators post in exactly the same way. Like posting on Instagram, there are no forms and no waiting for approval.

  1. Pick a video from your phone or computer, as an MP4 or MOV file.
  2. Choose a cover from any frame of the video, or upload one.
  3. Write a caption, with hashtags, @mentions and links.
  4. Choose a category.
  5. Post.

The clip goes live the moment its video is ready, usually within a few minutes, and appears on your profile straight away. Every clip is checked automatically for safety, and the community guidelines apply to everyone.

After posting you stay in control. You can pin up to three clips to the top of your profile, edit a caption or a cover, turn comments or downloads off, and delete a clip. For each clip you see its views, its average watch time, how much of it people watched to the end, and its downloads. A view counts every time someone opens the clip in the player.

Visibility is open to everyone with content up. It does not matter whether you are a brand or a creator, or how many followers you have. The feed ranks clips by how people respond to them, so whoever posts good clips gets seen.

Brands post their own product clips the same way creators do, and their profile and clips carry a Brand badge. A brand can also link a clip to its live campaign, so creators watching it see a View campaign button.

Posting is how you get seen, and the money comes from shop commission and from pay-per-view campaigns, both covered below.

To start, sign up for Viewzar and post your first clip. If you are a brand, create a brand account and post from there.

Profiles, with the shop one tap away

Every poster has a profile at viewzar.com/@username, with a photo, name, bio and a link, and a grid of clips with pinned clips on top. Brands carry the Brand badge and verified creators carry a verified tick. Tap a clip on a profile and it plays, then the rest of that profile's clips, then carries on into the main feed.

The profile is also where the shop lives. A creator's profile has two tabs, Clips and Shop, and the Shop tab holds the products they have picked from the shop. A brand's profile leads to its own store. So whenever someone's clip turns up in a viewer's feed, their shop is one tap away, and a viewer who likes the clip can go straight to the products.

That is why posting clips is how a shop gets traffic. Planning clips around it is the subject of how posting videos brings buyers to your shop.

How the feed fits with the shop and the campaigns

The feed is one of three parts that work together.

The feed is where products are seen. Anyone can watch, anyone signed up can post, and the product details button points viewers at what they are looking at.

Viewzar Shop is where products are sold. Brands open stores and list products with a per-unit commission they set and disclose upfront. Creators add products to their Shop tab in one tap and earn commission on every unit sold through their own link or code, with no cap, and the brand ships. What Viewzar Shop is explains it in full.

Pay-per-view campaigns are where brands buy reach on Instagram. Brands pay creators per 1,000 verified Instagram views on reels made to their brief. This runs separately from the feed, and how Viewzar works covers it step by step. A brand that links a feed clip to its live campaign puts that campaign in front of the creators who watch it.

The loop is short. A clip shows a product, the product button tells the viewer what it is, and the poster's shop sits one tap away.

Who the feed suits

  • Viewers who like discovering products through short videos and want to know what they are looking at without asking in the comments.
  • Creators of any size who make product videos, from skincare routines to gadget unboxings, and want them seen by new people with their shop beside them.
  • Brands, from a home-kitchen label in Jaipur to a skincare startup in Bengaluru, that want their own product clips ranked on merit and their store one tap from every clip.

It is built around products, so creators who review, demo or style things get the most from it, and Funny and novelty has a home for clips that are fun for their own sake.

The bottom line

The Viewzar feed is a complete short-video app that runs in the browser. It has a full-screen feed, a gallery in Explore, a feed for every category, a readable page for every clip, the familiar like, comment, save, share and download buttons, and a product details button that answers "what is this?" on the clip itself. Anyone can post with no approval step, clips are ranked on response, and every profile carries its poster's shop. The quickest way to understand it is to open the feed and swipe.
