# Change or set a password

Open the profile menu → My account → Change password. Enter your current password and the new one twice. If you signed up with your mobile only, the section is called Set a password and needs no current password.

1. Open the profile menu (your initials, top right) and choose **My account**.
2. In **Change password** (or **Set a password** if you have none yet), enter your current password if asked, then your new password twice.
3. Save. Changing your password signs out your other devices.

- **No password yet** (you signed up with your mobile): you can set one without a current password. After that you can sign in with your username, email or mobile and the password, as well as with a code.
- Passwords need at least 8 characters, and very common ones are refused.
