# What is Viewzar? The pay-per-view marketplace for creators and brands

Viewzar is a pay-per-view creator marketplace for India. Brands, podcasters and agencies load a prepaid rupee wallet, write a brief and set a rate per 1,000 verified views, and creators and clippers earn on the views their Instagram Reels actually get. There is no follower minimum, no pitching and no subscription, and creators keep 90% of what their reels earn.

Viewzar is a pay-per-view creator marketplace for India where brands pay a set rupee rate for every 1,000 verified views that creators' Instagram Reels get. Brands, podcasters and agencies load a prepaid wallet, write a brief and set the rate. Creators and clippers book the campaign, post a reel from their own Instagram account and earn on the views it actually gets, with no follower minimum, no pitching and no negotiation.

Viewzar publishes this blog, and this page is Viewzar's own plain description of how it works for each side, what it costs and who it suits.

## The idea behind Viewzar

> Views, not followers, are the currency.

Instagram shows Reels to people who do not follow the creator, so a 2,000-follower account can get 2,00,000 views on one reel. Fixed-fee sponsorships priced on follower counts lock small creators out and leave brands guessing, sometimes paying ₹30,000 for a post that gets 3,000 views.

Paying per verified view fixes both sides. Creators earn from the reach they really get, and brands pay only for reach that really happened, with no fake-follower risk and a budget that is spent only as real views arrive. The brand-side case is made in full in [how to measure influencer marketing ROI](/blog/influencer-marketing-roi).

## How Viewzar works for brands

1. **Load a prepaid wallet.** Top-ups start at ₹1,000. There is no subscription and no listing fee.
2. **Create a campaign.** Choose UGC or Clipping, write the brief, and set a rate per 1,000 verified views (at least ₹10) and a budget (at least ₹10,000).
3. **Creators book it.** Creators in matching niches book the campaign. Brands do not pick creators one by one.
4. **Approve or reject each reel** against the written brief within 48 hours. Silence counts as approval.
5. **Pay only for verified views** on reels you approved. The most a campaign can buy is budget ÷ rate × 1,000, so ₹1,00,000 at ₹50 per 1,000 buys up to 20,00,000 verified views.
6. **Keep what you don't spend.** Unspent money stays in the wallet, and your own money can be refunded within 30 days of a top-up.

Brands can also license a creator's reel to run as an ad for a fixed ₹5,000, run city-targeted campaigns for local businesses (shown to creators with at least 30% of their audience in that city), and go public to compete with other brands in their category on the leaderboards. Agencies create campaigns the same way brands do.

## How Viewzar works for creators and clippers

1. **Sign up and register your Instagram accounts.** Each must be public and a Creator or Business account so its views can be verified. One Viewzar account can hold several Instagram accounts, such as theme pages, clip pages or regional pages.
2. **Browse campaigns.** The rate per 1,000 views is visible before you book.
3. **Book a campaign.** Booking reserves part of the budget for you for 72 hours.
4. **Post and submit.** Post the reel from your own account, following the brief, then submit the link.
5. **Get reviewed.** The brand approves or rejects it against the brief within 48 hours.
6. **Earn on verified views**, paid to your UPI ID or bank account.

There is no follower minimum, no portfolio review, no pitching and no negotiation.

## What does Viewzar cost?

| | Brands | Creators and clippers |
|---|---|---|
| Joining | Free | Free |
| Subscription | None | None (Pro is optional) |
| How money moves | Your rate per 1,000 verified views, on reels you approved | Verified views × rate ÷ 1,000, minus the 10% fee |
| Minimums | Rate of ₹10 per 1,000 views, budget of ₹10,000 | 1,000 verified views to qualify, ₹500 balance to be paid |
| Money back or out | Unspent own money refundable within 30 days of a top-up | Paid after a 15-day hold |

The fee comes out of creator earnings, never on top of the brand's rate. For example, 50,000 verified views on a ₹50 per 1,000 campaign earn ₹2,500 gross. Viewzar's fee is ₹250, and the creator receives ₹2,250.

When a brand licenses a reel as an ad for ₹5,000, the creator gets 70%, which is ₹3,500. Full details are in [fees and pricing](/help/fees-and-pricing).

## How Viewzar verifies views

- **Instagram's own data.** Views are read from Instagram's data for the creator's registered account, never from screenshots. That is why accounts must be Creator or Business accounts, the account types Instagram shares view data for.
- **Fraud checks.** Views are checked for bots and bought engagement. Signs such as a sudden spike far beyond a reel's normal pattern, or very low engagement for the number of views, send a reel to a person for review while its money is still on hold. Bought views mean a permanent ban.
- **A tracking window.** Views are counted for 30 days after posting, or until the campaign ends.
- **A qualifying line.** A reel needs 1,000 verified views to qualify. After that, every view counts, including the first 1,000.

More detail is in [verified views and fraud checks](/help/verified-views-and-fraud).

## How payouts work on Viewzar

Each day's earnings wait out a 15-day hold, which leaves time for fraud checks and brand disputes. After that, they are paid to your UPI ID or bank account once your payable balance is at least ₹500. A smaller balance simply carries over. See [getting paid](/help/getting-paid).

## UGC and Clipping campaigns

- **UGC:** the brand provides a product and a brief, and the creator makes an original reel in their own style. Our guide on [how to become a UGC creator in India](/blog/how-to-become-a-ugc-creator-in-india) covers the craft.
- **Clipping:** a podcaster or show provides raw footage, called raw cuts, and clippers edit 30 to 60 second reels from it. Our guide on [how to make money clipping](/blog/how-to-make-money-clipping) explains how it works.

Both types are paid the same way, per 1,000 verified views.

## Leaderboards, tiers and Pro

- **Leaderboards** rank creators by views and earnings in their niche, and brands that go public compete by category. Figures are real and refresh every 15 minutes.
- **Tiers** (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum) reward a creator's track record.
- **Viewzar Pro** is optional at ₹799 a month and never required for campaign access.

## Who Viewzar is for, and who it isn't for

**A good fit:**

- Nano and micro creators, students, side-hustlers and creators in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities whose reels outperform their follower count
- Regional-language creators, theme pages and clippers
- D2C brands, local businesses, cafés, salons and early-stage startups that want reach without guessing at influencer prices
- Podcasters and shows that want their episodes clipped into reels
- Agencies running creator campaigns for clients

**Not a fit:**

- Anyone who wants a guaranteed fixed fee per post, whatever the views
- Creators on YouTube or other platforms, since Viewzar covers Instagram Reels only today
- Private or personal Instagram accounts that will not switch to Creator or Business
- Brands that want to hand-pick a specific creator or celebrity, or sign a long-term ambassador
- Anyone working outside India or in other currencies, since Viewzar runs in rupees only
- Campaigns for gambling, betting, illegal products, explicit content or political parties, which are not accepted

## How Viewzar differs from agencies, influencer platforms and Instagram's own programmes

| | Agency | Influencer discovery platform | Instagram's own programmes | Viewzar |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Who chooses the creator | The agency | The brand | Not applicable | Creators book, the brand approves each reel |
| How price is set | Negotiated fees plus agency charges | Negotiated per creator, often on followers | Set by Instagram, and programmes change | The brand's rate per 1,000 verified views |
| Pay for a reel that flops? | Usually | Usually | Not applicable | No, only verified views are paid |
| Follower minimum | Often | Often, through filters | Varies | None |

Each option does something well.

- **Agencies** bring strategy, production, creator relationships and hands-on management, for brands that want someone else to run everything.
- **Influencer discovery platforms** let you search for and pick specific creators, the right tool when one particular face matters.
- **Instagram's own programmes**, such as creator bonuses, come and go, and most are not broadly available in India. When they are, Instagram sets the terms, and they are not brand deals.
- **Viewzar** is for when you want many creators, pricing tied to verified views and no negotiation. It can sit alongside the others rather than replace them.

## The bottom line

Viewzar is a pay-per-view creator marketplace for India built on one idea, that views, not followers, are the currency. Brands pay a set rupee rate per 1,000 verified views and nothing for reels that flop, and creators of any size earn on the views their reels actually get.
